Good day Bulldog Students, Families, and Community,

My name is Amy McNease, and I am excited to begin my 26th year in education as Assistant Principal at Roy Johnson STEM Academy!

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Throughout my career, I have served students and families as a teacher, coach, and administrator across Texas, always focused on helping students achieve success both academically and personally.

This year, I am proud to oversee our Math, Science, and Special Education Departments while continuing to support campus operations, student success, and a positive school culture. I also have the privilege of leading our daily PAWSitive Starts alongside our Bulldog Scholars, helping students begin each day with encouragement, celebration, and a focus on our Bulldog schoolwide expectations: Pride, Accountable, Wise, and Safe.

At Roy Johnson STEM Academy, I believe every student has the potential to learn, grow, and thrive. I am committed to partnering with our students, staff, families, and community to ensure all Bulldogs feel supported, challenged, and valued.
